Abergeldie selected to deliver Mandagery Creek Bridge Replacement

We’re thrilled to announce that we have been selected by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) to deliver the Mandagery Creek Bridge Replacement project, an important link for road users travelling on Henry Parkes Way between Orange and Parkes and for the local Manildra community, linking residents with the town centre.

The $12M project involves demolition of the existing bridge and construction of a new 4 span (70m long) prestressed concrete super-T bridge that runs over Mandagery Creek on Henry Parkes Way at Manildra. The new bridge will meet modern design standards and be wider than the existing structure, catering for higher mass limit vehicles for improved freight access and will provide pedestrian facilities via a footpath on the Northern side of the bridge.

Abergeldie CEO, Mark Bruzzone said “We’re excited to be delivering the Mandagery Creek Bridge Replacement project for TfNSW. Our regional team is looking forward to applying its recent experience in the staged demolition and reconstruction of road bridges on the same alignment to reliably deliver this important link for road users and the local community of Manildra”.

The project is expected to kick off this month.
